There are 5 possible certifications that can be earned.
Pursue one or more certifications to start earning professional credentials.

The first three certifications – Accounting, Inventory, and Job Cost – are prerequisites for the Application Specialist certification. Once you have certified as an Accounting Specialist, Inventory Specialist and Job Cost Specialist, you will be eligible to certify as an Application Specialist, which demonstrates your mastery of Sage 50 Accounting overall. The prerequisite certifications can be earned in any sequence; however, the Accounting Specialist is a recommended starting place since it covers the core modules of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Banking.

The Payroll Specialist certification has no dependencies and you can register for it at any time, independently of the other certifications. In addition, the Accounting Specialist certification is available to users of any edition of Sage 50. The remaining certifications will test users on features found in the Premium and higher editions.
